In viticulture, we think in terms of generations, as a vineyard remains productive for 40 years or more. Our vineyard management practices aim to preserve the natural foundations of winegrowing for the long term.

We implement the following measures:

• avoiding insecticides, mineral fertilizers, and herbicides
• employing biological controls and alternative methods, such as those based on baking soda
• promoting humus formation and reducing the risk of erosion by natural cover cropping between vine rows
• encouraging natural predators—for example, by installing perches for birds of prey
• maintaining ongoing dialogue and cooperation with public bodies such as the Chamber of Agriculture.
